New pro-Trump social app invaded by jihadists
GETTR, the pro-Trump social network that prides itself on not censoring users’ free speech, has been plagued by a number of issues since its launch in June. First, the new user registration interface was destroyed. Then he was inundated with porn images and GIFs. Users spam the platform’s first post with graphic hentai videos and photoshopped Hillary Clinton facial images on a woman’s naked body.
Jason Miller, who founded the platform and previously was the spokesperson for the twice-impeached former President Donald Trump, has seen his page taken over, while accounts from Mike Pompeo, Steve Bannon, Marjorie Taylor -Greene, Harlan Hill, Sean Parnell, and pro-Trump broadcaster Newsmax were also hacked.
Now, the tech geniuses who make up the “brains” of GETTR are scrambling to prevent the site from continuing to be inundated with terrorist propaganda from supporters of the Islamic State. A Politics examination of the site revealed that it has tons of jihad-related material, including graphic videos of beheadings, viral memes that promote violence against the West, and even memes of an activist executing Trump in an orange jumpsuit similar to those used at Guantanamo Bay.
GETTR claims that the Politico “hit-piece” was funded by the “Big Tech Giants”, a false claim that is unsupported by any evidence.
After Trump and some of his conspiracy theories spread and his lying friends were kicked from mainstream social media, Trump and his MAGAt mob began to look for other uncensored means of communication. In other words, the search for a secure communications platform by Trump supporters has shown America’s terrorist enemies the gateway.
In response to questions about jihadist material shared on GETTR, Miller shrugged. “The only ISIS operatives still alive are keyboard warriors hiding in caves and eating earthen cookies,” he said in a text message to Politico.
