Love Island’s Sharon Gaffka “Open To A Relationship With A Woman” After Talk About Sexuality
Sharon Gaffka has previously discussed her sexuality in the Love Island villa and has now admitted that she wouldn’t turn down the chance to date a woman.
Sharon Gaffka has said she would be ready to have a relationship with a woman after previously discussing her sexuality at the Love Island villa.
The 25-year-old, who works for the Department of Transportation and starred on the ITV2 dating show this summer, said she was “questioning herself” because she hadn’t taken the plunge and had dated a woman.
Ever since she was cast in the public eye, after her stint in the villa, Sharon has said that she has struggled to get back into the dating game, but wants to meet a new partner.
Talk to the new! magazine in a conversation with The Only Way Is Essex star Bobby Norris, Sharon explained her thoughts on finding someone to love.

She said: “I think if I met someone and really liked that person, then I would. But because I never did, I question myself.”
The reality TV star continued, “I really wanted to meet someone in the villa and I’m doing it now.
“As a mixed race Asian woman, dating someone can be very boring. Especially when you are a hypersexualized race and fetishized by pornography.”
Sharon said she isn’t necessarily looking for someone in the public eye for a date.
She continued, “It doesn’t have to be a celebrity! I just want a nice person. But anyone who isn’t in the public eye might be put off if people came to me and asked for pictures or got fucked.
“I went out for a drink with Chuggs as friends and it was in the diary. Will every date I go on be in the diary?”
After leaving Love Island, Sharon revealed that she had a frank conversation about her sexuality with the girls at the villa but was cut from the series.
Sharon said she had experienced a threesome in the past to find out if it was the girls or the boys she liked.

Talk to Metro online, Sharon said she opened up to Faye while she was in the villa, “I had a conversation with Faye about this and she asked, ‘Are you bisexual?’ And I said, ‘It’s something that I’ve explored but I’ve never had a relationship with a woman.’
“A lot of the conversations I had about modern dating on the show never aired, but I was very open about sexuality and being a mixed race woman in modern dating.”
Sharon also told Bobby that the level of trolling she has faced since leaving the villa had given him doubts about whether to schedule a date about it.
She said: “I’m aware of that. My brother got shot on Love Island, so do I really want to bring someone else into a situation too? If anything, this made things even more complicated!
“However, I get fewer photos of d ** k on Instagram now – so there are silver liners!”
