Bisexual OnlyFans creator Titus Low sentenced to 3 weeks in prison
Bisexual OnlyFans creator Titus Low has been sentenced to three weeks in prison for violating previous offenses under Singapore’s Penal Code and Code of Criminal Procedure.
Although the consumption of pornography is legal in Singapore, its sale is illegal. According CNN, Low pleaded guilty to the charges and was fined S$3,000. He is expected to go to jail from Wednesday, October 26.
In a YouTube video, Low applauded conservative laws that got him in trouble.
“We only create content for people who are our age and want to have content they want to see. It’s all on a consensual basis. We don’t force you to watch our content or pay. It’s not open for public consumption, and if I’m not hampering your life and your lifestyle, the person pointed me out, why are you hampering mine?”
On Monday, October 17, Low also shared an emotional message via Instagram.
“Hi guys, as you all know I’m going to jail very, very soon. I’m scared of what I’m going to go through and what’s next for me. The experience of being labelled, hated, judged and ostracized is emotionally daunting, especially considering I was just doing what I could to get by and this career choice was my bowl of rice.
“It’s not easy for me to be myself in public, as many of you might think. Even though I always refer to myself as an “Onlyfxns” creator, I always wonder if this “me” is the one I should continue to show to the public. I love what I do and (try) to do what I love, but I guess life has other plans for me! While I’m gone, I just want my family and my four fur babies to be well. I hope you will support me on my journey as I take you with me on my journey to becoming a better person, every day.
While these conservative laws certainly exist in Singapore, it should be noted that Low is the first OnlyFans creator to be sued to this point in the country. Many of Low’s supporters attribute the enforcement of these conservative laws to the fact that he is publicly declared to be bisexual.
For now, however, it appears Low’s conviction is irreversible.
